REFLECTIONS WITH MERCY

Let Your Praise Rise

Praise is not only for the days when everything is going well. Sometimes, the greatest praise is the one that rises from a heart that has every reason to complain.

When you praise God in the middle of uncertainty, you are declaring that your circumstances do not determine God’s faithfulness. When you praise Him while waiting for an answer, you are choosing faith over fear. When you lift your voice despite the battles around you, you are reminding your soul that God is still in control.

Your praise may begin with tears, but it can end in testimony. Your situation may not have changed yet, but praise changes your focus—from the size of the problem to the greatness of your God.

So today, don’t wait until the breakthrough comes before you praise. Let your praise rise now. Let it rise from your heart, from your home, from your waiting season, and even from your broken places.

God inhabits the praises of His people. Your praise is a declaration:
“Lord, I still trust You. I still believe You. You are still worthy.”

Scripture: “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” — Psalm 150:6
Prayer:

Lord, give me the grace to praise You in every season. When I cannot see the way forward, let my praise rise. When I am waiting, let my faith remain strong. Turn my praise into a testimony and let my life continually glorify You. Amen.
